Pam Perrich Named Safety Professional of the Year for 2005-2006 by the Pensacola Chapter
Pam Perrich was honored with the 2005-2006 Safety Professional of the Year award at the December 14, 2006 meeting of the Pensacola Chapter.
Pam works for the Naval Hospital Pensacola and heads the Industrial Hygiene Department which provides comprehensive industrial hygiene services for Navy activities in Northwest Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee and Louisiana. She is a Certified Industrial Hygienist and has worked for the Navy for 22 years.
From 2004-2006, Pam served as President of the Pensacola Chapter and worked diligently to improve communications by establishing a Chapter website, revitalizing the newsletter, and creating an e-mail distribution list for meeting announcements, job openings, and training opportunities. She also established training programs for incoming officers and committee chars to help smooth the transition process and for new members to help them better assimilate into Chapter.
Don Jones, National President of the American Society of Safety Engineers, was on hand for the meeting and presented the award.

Chad Stewart of Advanced Elastomer Systems Named 2004-2005 Pensacola Chapter Safety Professional of the Year
Chad Stewart was honored with the 2004-2005 Safety Professional of the Year award at the January 12, 2006 meeting of the Pensacola Chapter. Chad has been a member of ASSE since 1999 and is the Environmental, Health, Safety and Security Advisor for Advanced Elastomer Systems, an Exxon Mobile Subsidiary. Chad’s many contributions to the Chapter include serving as Secretary, (2000-2001), Treasurer (2001-2002), Vice President (2002-2003), and President (2003-2004). For the past two years he has served as Past-President and the Chairperson of the Awards and Honors Committee. Chad was also key to the success of the 2nd Annual Golf Tourney (2003), the Professional Development Conference in Panama City (2003), and several professional development courses the Chapter has sponsored.
The Chapter recognizes and appreciates his hard work and dedication and is proud to bestow upon Chad our highest honor, the Safety Professional of the Year.
