Julie J. Wells Named Safety Professional of the Year for 2006-2007 by the Pensacola Chapter
Julie J. Wells, owner of Accu-Staff Inc., was honored with the 2006-2007 Safety Professional of the Year award at the December 6, 2007 meeting of the Pensacola Chapter.
The award was presented by Mr. Neil Thorsen, Charter Member and Past President of our Chapter.

Founded in 1911, ASSE is the oldest and largest professional safety organization. Its more than 30,000 members manage, supervise and consult on safety, health, and environmental issues in industry, insurance, government and education. ASSE is guided by a 16-member Board of Directors, which consists of 8 regional vice presidents; three council vice presidents; Society president, president-elect, senior vice president, vice president of finance and executive director. ASSE has 13 practice specialties, 150 chapters, 56 sections and 64 student sections.
The Pensacola Chapter was chartered on December 13, 1979 and was the 101st chapter to receive a Charter. For over 25 years we have worked to promote the advancement of the safety profession and safety professionals along Florida’s Gulfcoast. Our Chapter’s boundaries range from Panama City to Tallahassee and encompass the following counties: Bay, Calhoun, Escambia, Franklin, Gadsden, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, Leon, Liberty, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, Walton, Washington and Wakulla.
